First Love, Last Dance

Elise fell in love for the first time with Peter when she was 21 years old. She became engaged to him but didn't marry him until she was 75!
Between the beginning and age 75 is First Love, Last Dance. In November, 2009, the book was published. It is a captivating tale of the simple life on a farm and many untold stories behind it. Released through Xlibris, First Love, Last Dance chronicles the riveting story of life as seen through the innocent eyes of a child.

Each year, the Wilson family anticipated their mother's long-distance birthday call from Peter. A mysterious man whom the children only knew as their mother's ex-boyfriend. Peter never failed to call and chat for a few minutes, which ironically never made their father jealous.

Through narration that paints a beautiful picture of the life that was, readers are transported to a farm in Ohio and to the exclusive Buckhead neighborhood in Atlanta.  The memoir slowly traces back to how the author's parents met against the backdrop of post World War II. Intertwined between the reminiscences is the true identity of Peter and how he eventually enters the family's life once more.

First Love, Last Dance is a touching true story of how love always proves to conquer time and circumstances. It will entertain readers with its amusing anecdotes and compelling lessons.
