The Paradox of Healing

There are numerous reports in both religious and secular literature about people who believe in the Scriptures that God heals all sicknesses, and yet after they have prayed and exercised strong faith for their healing; for whatever unknown reasons they are not healed. There are also many people who believe that God heals all sicknesses and after they have prayed and exercised strong faith for their healing, they are healed.

In either case, the troubling and persistent questions are, “Why the dilemma?” “Why are some healed and not others?” “What should one do when the belief that God heals all sicknesses, but some are not healed begin to erode?” Some have asked, “If God can't take away their sickness what good is He?”

These questions may have created more questions than there are answers, or may even have generated more atheists than any other questions yet raised. People can go on and on asking these heart-wrenching questions, but one fact is clear, while faith in God does not stand or fall on these questions, these questions do remain critical to the human experience regarding life and death.

Dr. Samuel O. Enyia's book Be Healed! Challenges and Triumphs of Health and Healings answers these questions with very compelling, comprehensive and compassionate stories and testimonies of family members, close friends and others who are caught in the midst of this dilemma. The accounts narrated in this book would encourage and inspire many people who may be going through such difficult experiences with illnesses and health issues.

Enyias's Be Healed! is a must read for anyone seeking a better understanding about the power of God in healing. The author sincerely presents divine healing from a fresh perspective, enabling the reader to glean wisdom from more personal applications of truth. Truly an inspirational read.
