Curly and his friends need your help

With summer upon us, the temperatures in Arizona have already begun to soar. The first weekend in June broke old record temperatures when we hit 115 degrees. When everyone else leaves for cooler climates in the summer, our farm residents don't get to. They have to endure brutal temperatures from May through October. It is crucial to their well-being to add misters to their shade structures to help keep them cool.

Animal Guardian Network Sanctuary and Healing Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization (TIN 26-3216234). The sanctuary provides 24/7 long-term care for senior, special needs, and terminally ill animals that have been left behind or discarded and otherwise would not have been saved. AGN is currently home to 4 horses, 2 burros, 1 steer, 1 lamb, 1 pig, 5 chickens and a rooster. We also have 30 dogs, many of whom are lifelong residents.  Your donation would be helping residents like:

Curly, a one and a half year old steer, rescued from a hoarder where he lived in filth for the first 3 months of his life, eating food provided from garbage cans and drinking stagnant water from a plastic play pool awaiting adulthood so he could be slaughtered.

Storm, an 8-year-old paint who was headed for slaughter because it was deemed that he could not be broken and, therefore was of no use. Storm possesses a quiet strength and within days of his arrival settled in and became a faithful companion to Sky, our 30-year-old paint, who still mourned the loss of her friend Thunder the year before.

Through the generosity of people like you, we were able to provide this type of relief last year in our chicken habitat as well as Spirit and Hopi's area. The cost to add additional water lines and misters is $2500 and we already have a handyman/plumber willing to do the work. PLEASE donate today to give Curly and his friends some much-needed relief on these triple digit Arizona summer days.  Your donation is 100 percent tax deductible and your gift today will make a difference in the lives of our farm residents for years to come. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Curly would like each person who donates a minimum of $75 to receive his beautiful custom moo-ornament, mailed to you with his love.
