Discover spiritual potential, purpose at Unity of Carefree Cave Creek

CAVE CREEK – Spiritual but not particularly religious and feel like you don’t fit in at any traditional churches? You’re in luck, because now there’s Unity of Carefree Cave Creek. It’s newly founded in its 5504 E. Palo Brea Lane location but the church’s history is rich with Unity Worldwide Ministries. The belief is simple – that all people are created with sacred worth.
At the pulpit of Unity of Carefree Cave Creek is Reverend Lori Fleming. Reverend Lori, as she is known, is a licensed and ordained Unity minister who graduated from Unity Institute in 2006. She said, “My greatest passion is living and teaching Unity principles and watching people transform as they learn to use them in their lives.” She often recognizes that “lightbulb moment” when one of her talks resonates with a member of the congregation.

At Unity, the goal is to help individuals have stronger connections to God every day by healing them to feel empowered, accepted, loved, inspired and connected. And it’s always love-based, never fear-based, positive and inviting. Unity, considered a new-thought church, serves folks of all denominations and welcomes them to come with their “god(s) of understanding.”
The congregation grows each week, and Rev. Lori encourages her neighbors to take part with open hearts and open minds. Because the number affords itself to individual input, Rev. Lori loves to hear ideas for her “sermons” or any other pertinent suggestions. There’s no communion or holy wine, but there’s plenty of “music, meditation and a timely message to start the week on just the right note.”
