Happy Birthday to Scottsdale Library
It started as a deal between a couple of moms in 1955. They got some books and started a lending library. Sixty years later those 200 books have grown into almost a half million books – and electronic books, as well as DVDs and so much more. In 2014/2015, the library served over 1.3 million customers. Celebrate with us by coming to the Mayor’s Breakfast, Thursday, September 10 from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library and hear about our history and our future plans. Call 480-312-2466 for reservations.
