Council members and road closures

We encourage letters to the editor. Some we agree with and some we don’t. You will see a letter to the editor from Councilman Thomas McGuire. Thomas is a councilman of long standing, a retired school teacher, author, docent at Spur Cross Ranch and a geologist of standing. He bounced back from a card draw loss of a council seat to Adam Trenk.

Barack "Climate Change" Obama

“Woe to the land that’s governed by a child.” ~ Shakespeare, Richard III

I have been wrestling for some kind of explanation why the President of the United States, Barack Obama, would continue to talk about climate change and urge the global transition from fossil fuels to wind, solar and bio-energy. I have concluded that he thinks everyone, not just Americans, are idiots.

Immigration Shutdown Now! Extermination of insects that pollinate our crops

Part 8: Adding 100 million legal immigrants multiplies the use of herbicides and insecticides to the point of extermination of insect pollinators.

Again, as the title of this series commands your attention, remember that our U.S. Congress continues adding 1.2 million legal immigrants annually which equates to 100,000 every 30 days. The U.S. Census Bureau projects a total of 100,000,000 (million) added legal immigrants, their offspring and chain-migrated relatives within the next 35 years.

Letters of marque and reprisal granted by IRS

In the wake of the IRS scandals involving the targeting of Tea Party and other conservative organizations and leaks of their legally-protected information, one would have thought that the agency would become a little more careful in how it handles its review and enforcement activities.

Scared, almost speechless

There is some very scary crap going o.n in this world, but the scariest to me is what is going on here, in America. We used to be the sanctuary from that scary stuff, the bastion of last resort. How quickly generations forget, or is it they never learned? Week after week, as I read your publication and assimilate information from other credible and even non-credible news outlets, it is clear to me that several dark forces are coming together at the weakest time in modern American history. We are facing a Perfect Storm, one which is hell-bent on destroying the fabric of American culture. Blaine Keith, like other veterans and true Americans across the country, is 100 percent correct. We have to do something very, very soon.
