Apply now for fall hunts
The Arizona Game and Fish Department reminds hunters that the deadline to apply for 2015 hunt permit-tags issued through the draw process for deer, fall turkey, fall javelina, bighorn sheep, fall buffalo and pheasant is 11:59 p.m. (MST) Tuesday, June 9.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early and use the online service at https://az.gov/azgfd/draw/home.xhtml (scroll down to “Apply for a Draw”). Applying online is fast and easy. The service also dramatically reduces the chances of making errors that could result in a rejected application.
For those who don’t want to use the online system, paper applications can be mailed to: Arizona Game and Fish Department, Attn.: Drawing Section, P.O. Box 74020, Phoenix, AZ 85087-1052, or dropped off at any department office statewide. The deadline by which the department must receive all applications – online or paper – is 11:59 p.m. (MST) Tuesday, June 9. Postmarks do not count.
