PHOENIX – On Saturday, November 15, the Attorney General’s Office and Neighborhood Housing Services of Phoenix will host a free housing assistance and community resource event for Maricopa County homeowners at the Glendale Adult Center located at 5970 West Brown St., Glendale, Arizona, 85302. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with HUD-approved housing counselors and lenders to discuss loan refinance, modification, recovery assistance and more. Other services available include:
• Legal services
• Relocation assistance
• Veterans aid
• Job training and employment assistance
• Scam awareness and prevention

Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their current mortgage statement, current bank statements (2 months), prior tax returns, W-2s and current income statements (2 months).
Residents can make appointments online a AZMortgageResource.gov or by calling 1-844-777-3200. Walk-ins also welcome.

Help You Can Trust provides direct assistance to families that may be burdened by an unaffordable mortgage, behind on a payment, or in danger of foreclosure.  It is important to note that even if a person has been turned down in the past, they may still be eligible for a number of mortgage assistance programs.
