Praying across Texas and America

Bookmark and Share

AUSTIN, Texas (CTTF ~ NDP) – Something big, exciting and historic is about to begin. On October 1, Christians across America will begin a month-long journey of intercession called Pray31.

Pray31 extends from October 1 to 31 - ending just before our nationwide elections on November 4, 2014. During those 31 days of October, prayer will be focused on every major aspect of American life. It is truly important and it will be truly memorable, and that's why I hope you will be involved.

The key Pray31 resource is the U.S. Prayer Atlas. It is the guide to this unforgettable journey. If you'd like to receive a copy of this powerful booklet, visit Pray31.com to learn more about the initiative that will touch countless lives.

Over 100,000 churches have received a Pray31 Info Packet. This campaign is being carried out primarily by local churches who enlist their entire congregation in prayer for America. Please encourage your pastor or other church leaders to ensure that your church is involved. You can direct them to Pray31.com for all the details.

The goal is to raise up one million Christians praying for America during the month of October. Remember this theme: One Million. One Month. One Nation! Visit www.Pray31.com.

God's Provision for His Reign & Rain
Across Texas the cry is for God to replenish the water sources for our state and let the rain fall in the watersheds of our land. God says, "He covers the sky with clouds, He supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills." - Psalm 147:8.

God's Provision for Revival & Reconciliation
Texas is blessed in many ways and yet there is need. God says, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their own way, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land." - Second Chronicles 7:14.

God's Provision for Restoration & Recovery
Texans who are strong in faith seek to humble themselves and believe God for freedom, liberty and justice. God says, "Humble yourselves, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you... And God of all Glory will Himself restore you and make your stronger. - First Peter 6 ff.

Investing in Hope... Transforming Texas Through Prayer!
Texas is built on the strength of those who have come before us and those who sacrificially serve us today. "Lord, hear our cry."
