CAVE CREEK – The historic Cave Creek church, located behind and above Harold’s Cave Creek Corral, is now the Cave Creek Wedding Chapel. The completely refurbished non-denominational venue offers couples one of the valleys most inspiring and stylish settings for weddings, vow renewals and elopements.

According to owner/operator, Maggie Hunt, no important detail has been overlooked. “The new Cave Creek Wedding Chapel is a work of art,” she said. Wedding parties can relax and prepare for their big event in charming private suites. The Chapel’s bridal suite includes a private bathroom, vanity and additional amenities. The separate groom’s suite is furnished with leather sofas, stereo system, TV and refrigerator.

Hunt has customized services to accommodate up to 80 guests, depending on the event and plans to open the Chapel to businesses and various types or organizations for meetings and guest speakers. “We are also contacting location scouts who we believe may promote our facility to photographers and movie producers.”

Hunt said syndicated columnist, Paul Harvey, best known for his international radio program “The Rest of the Story” was a regular parishioner at the former Baptist Church. In one of his final broadcasts he praised the old church saying, “On a dusty desert hilltop overlooking Harold’s Corral and the Horny Toad Café is a tiny Baptist church which holds so much significance in my life.”

The Cave Creek Chapel is located at 6914 E. Bella Vista Drive in Cave Creek. Visit www.cavecreekchapel.com.
