Does anyone in Washington DC tell the truth?

Muslims are permitted to lie to infidels in order to advance the cause of Islam. There are two forms: taqiyya – saying something that isn't true and kitman – lying by omission.

It seems politicians and federal officials are permitted to lie to the American people if it advances the cause of the government or their career aspirations.
