Carefree Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast
Enjoy breakfast while “Building the Future for Kids” on Saturday, April 5 from 7 – 11 a.m. Tickets can be purchased from Carefree Kiwanis members or at the event, which will be held at The Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion (formerly known as Carefree Gardens Amphitheater) is located at 101 Easy Street, Carefree 85377. Art in the Garden
"Art in the Garden” on Saturday, April 5, 8 – 11 a.m. in the Town of Carefree Desert Gardens in the Town Center, is an Education and Community Services (ECS) and Cave Creek Unified School District (CCUSD) showcase of all the wonderful art experiences (programs, exhibitions and performances) that arts nonprofits and community service organizations bring to local schools.

Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
Celebrate Pinnacle Peak Park's 12th Birthday on Saturday, April 5 with an old fashioned pancake breakfast from 7 – 11 a.m. on the west patio of the Pinnacle Peak Patio Steakhouse & Microbrewery at 10426 E. Jomax Road. $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

Triple R Horse Rescue Ranch Appreciation Day
Saturday, April 5 and May 3. This is a great way for students to obtain their volunteer hours and a great way for groups to volunteer.

Walk to End Hunger
The Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center will benefit from cash donations and all American peanut butter and jelly during the Walk to End Hunger, Sunday, April 6. Registration for walkers begins at 1:30 p.m. and the walk gets underway at 2 p.m. Individuals are asked to pledge a minimum of $30 to help the Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center. Donations are due the day of the walk.

People also are encouraged to bring a jar of peanut butter and/or jelly for the cause. The walk begins at the Carefree amphitheater, which is located at the Carefree Desert Gardens, 101 Easy Street. Checks are payable to Foothills Walk for the Hungry.
