SCOTTSDALE – Mayor W.J. “Jim” Lane hosts the third annual East Valley Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, March 6, at the Scottsdale Fairmont Princess, 7575 E. Princess Drive. The breakfast begins at 7 a.m. followed by a 7:30 a.m. program.

This goal of this volunteer-driven initiative is to foster partnerships to better serve those in need. Proceeds from this year’s program benefit Family Promise which helps homeless families attain self-sufficiency, and Arizona 211, a community and information referral service.

“I look forward to welcoming attendees as we bring together the unifying elements of our faith and spend the morning celebrating our higher purpose,” said Mayor Lane. “As we pray together we come to understand each other and gain confidence in knowing how often our values are shared.”

Valley business leader and sports executive Jerry Colangelo will be the keynote speaker. He will share his perspectives and experiences on how people can have a positive impact through faith and service.

Individual tickets are $40. Table and event sponsorships also are available for $750 and $1,500, respectively.
