December brings special events to Cave Creek Museum

CAVE CREEK – Cave Creek Museum is ringing in the holiday spirit this December with several special events:

Sunday, Dec. 1: 7th Annual “Cowboy Christmas” Children’s Program 1 – 4 p.m. FREE family-friendly event

singing cowboyKick off the holiday season this year with lots of family fun at Cave Creek Museum’s “Cowboy Christmas”! Activities include roping a steer with a hula-hoop, making chaps, making and decorating cookies and other crafts and games. Gary Sprague and his own talented mount, Dusty, return to entertain visitors at 2:30 p.m. with holiday poetry, stories, and songs.

Thursday, Dec. 5: “Beyond Form” – a special documentary honoring Paolo Soleri; 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

paolo soleriFilm will be shown in the Museum’s historic church as part of Desert Foothills Library’s Arizona Filmmakers Speak: Sip Wine and Savor Stories series. Tickets cost $10.
