Former Scottsdale CPA found guilty on all 30 felony counts

Wise has 102 felony counts of mail fraud, wire fraud and transactional money laundering currently pending in federal court

PHOENIX – On Monday, a jury found Danny Wise, a former Scottsdale CPA, guilty on all felony charges, which included 22 counts of theft and eight counts of fraudulent schemes and artifices, in Maricopa County Superior Court.

Death row inmate executed for 1978 murder

PHOENIX – Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne announced the execution of 71-year-old Edward Harold Schad Jr. at the Arizona State Prison Complex in Florence.

The execution by lethal injection commenced at 10:03 a.m. on Oct. 9 and Schad was pronounced dead at 10:12 a.m.

AZ Department of Real Estate streamlines with use of more technology

CAVE CREEK – Monday night’s council meeting included a presentation by Arizona Real Estate Commissioner Judy Lowe. Lowe, appointed by Gov. Jan Brewer, has served in that post for about four years. She said the department’s mission is to protect the public interest through licensing.

WWII Memorial in Phoenix nears completion

PHOENIX – Although the federal government closed down national parks and veterans memorials around the country, Arizona’s new WWII Memorial is nearing completion and will be open and formally dedicated on December 7, 2013.
