Time to confront black racism

Larry KlaymanWhen I was a young boy, I religiously watched the cartoon “Popeye” on television. The famous tattooed sailor whose girlfriend was Olive Oil and who got his strength from eating spinach used to say when he had had it with his nemesis, Bruto, “Enough is enough and enough is too much!” That’s the way many non-blacks are beginning to feel about the constant drumbeat among many blacks that Trayvon Martin’s death was the result of so-called racial profiling by whites. According to them, it is for this reason alone that Zimmerman should have been convicted of second-degree murder or at least manslaughter.

The simple fact of life is, regrettably, that, for whatever reason, blacks commit street crime in a much higher incidence than whites and non-blacks. Call it a sad sociological and historical fact, but that is the reality. Thus, when a black person is looking suspicious in a generally white neighborhood, it would be stupid not to take legal measures to protect the neighborhood, particularly when there has been a rash of recent crime. That was the case with George Zimmerman, no matter how black activist vigilantes would like to paint it differently for their own “unkosher” reasons.

While black activists like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton continue their assault of whites using the Zimmerman verdict as an excuse, whites have been timid to call it like it is. Perhaps it is white guilt for the centuries gone by when blacks had legitimate complaints about slavery and persecution. Perhaps it is the fear that if whites speak up they will pay a price, economically in their jobs, trades or professions, or even with their physical well-being. Indeed, following the Zimmerman verdict of not-guilty, he was in effect threatened with death by even some prominent public persons, such as Victor Cruz, a star football player of the New York Giants. Cruz boasted on Twitter, “Zimmerman doesn’t last a year before the hood catches up with him.”
And, all time great songwriter Stevie Wonder threatened Florida with a boycott by blacks that would no longer frequent the Sunshine State on vacation. It is no “Wonder” many whites, like myself, had to snicker at this threat – since a black boycott, under the circumstances following the Zimmerman verdict, might actually increase tourism to Florida. However, in reality, what is going on in the country today between blacks and whites is far from funny. It is the sad result of black racism by the likes of Jackson, Sharpton and, even worse, our so-called President Barack Hussein Obama who effectively and predictably sided with the Martin family from the get go of this tragic mess.

But while whites are loath to speak out, I have to take my hat off to my old good friend, the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson of BOND, the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny. Jesse Lee is a black person who is a credit to his noble race, someone who calls it like it is even though by doing so he has been threatened and even assaulted. During my days as chairman and general counsel of Judicial Watch, I brought a case for Jesse Lee against Jesse Jackson and television Judge Mathis for battering Jesse Lee at an event Jackson had put on to extort money from Toyota. True to form, Jackson had claimed that Toyota was mistreating blacks. The event was meant to threaten Toyota and squeeze money out of the company to address Jackson’s claims of racial discrimination.

Not being able to fathom Jackson’s extortion, Jesse Lee traveled to the event and spoke out publicly about the need for blacks to stop blaming others for their plight and roll up their sleeves and get to work. Coming from a black man who himself had been subjected to white discrimination, the words of Jesse Lee rang so true that Jackson and Mathis had him pummeled to shut him up.

Jesse Lee reappeared in true brave form on “Piers Morgan Live” to confront Morgan and his black guest “yes men” who were promoting this ongoing attack on whites, whipping up a potential race war in the nation. Morgan’s motive is obviously his viewership, which is predominantly bleeding heart leftist and sympathetic to this black activist crusade.
Here is what Jesse Lee had to say to Morgan and the destructive black racists he had on the show:

“Well, first, this case was not about race at all, and what happened, you have the race hustlers and poverty pimps like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and others who turned it into a race issue in order to gain power and wealth. And you also have Barack Obama jumping into it by saying that if he had a son, he would look just like Trayvon Martin. And I thought that was insane for him to make that type of comment. He only did that because he want to incite the anger of black Americans and others. … It’s about Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and NAACP and others using black Americans by dividing the races, intimidating white people in order to gather more power or get more power and wealth. …

“Trayvon Martin was a thug. His parents know that. You know that. I know that. … George Zimmerman would have done whatever it took to protect himself. It didn’t matter to George Zimmerman the color of the man. And this notion that Trayvon Martin was some little innocent kid tiptoeing through the tulips and George Zimmerman had nothing else to do but to go out and kill him is a lie. … There were pictures on his Facebook page of Trayvon Martin carrying – having – holding on to a gun, pot in front of him. This wasn’t a good little kid. …”

Good for you, Jesse Lee, and other fine blacks of your brave ilk. Now its time for whites to have Jesse Lee’s courage and tell it like it is. This will benefit not only whites, but also those brave blacks who do not feed at the trough of racial division and hatred.
