Childsplay presents A Wrinkle In Time

wrinkle in timeTEMPE – Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Madeline L'Engle's beloved book, Childsplay announces performances of the live stage adaptation of A Wrinkle In Time at the Tempe Center for the Arts.  This science fiction fantasy is recommended for ages 8 and up.

On a dark and stormy night, a mysterious stranger appears at Meg Murray's house.  Suddenly Meg, her precocious younger brother Charles and their friend Calvin find themselves in the middle of a fantastic adventure, traveling through space and time.  A Wrinkle In Time features Rebecca Duckworth as Meg, Will Hightower as Calvin and Cullen Law as Charles Wallace.

Associate Artists Debra K. Stevens will take the role of Whatsit and Dwayne Hartford will direct.

Performances of A Wrinkle In Time will be held at Tempe Center for the Arts, 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway on April 21- May 26, Saturdays at 1 pm and 4 pm and Sundays at 1 pm. Tickets start at $12 and are on sale now at www.childsplayaz.org or at the Tempe Center for the Arts Box Office (480) 350-2822 (ext. 0). 

Sunday, April 21 at 4 p.m. is a special $12 Storybook Preview performance, sponsored by The Steele Foundation. Each family that attends this General Admission preview performance will receive a free book.

Mad Science Special Event
Spend an hour exploring the mysteries of the universe with Mad Science before the 4 p.m. performance of A Wrinkle In Time on Sunday, May 5. Tickets are $30 per person, which includes ticket to the show, and are available at www.childsplayaz.org
