Carefree/Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament

When:  7:30 a.m., Monday, April 8.
Where:  Tatum Ranch Golf Club, 29888 N Tatum Drive, Cave Creek.
Cost:  $150 per golfer.
What is it:  Sponsored by National Bank of Arizona, the annual fundraiser golf tournament for the Carefree Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce includes 18 holes of golf, barbecue lunch and Award presentation, plenty of contests and prizes to be won.

Scottsdale Public Art’s Canal Convergence: Spring Equinox, March 21-24

The third in a series of Scottsdale Public Art's Canal Convergence events, Spring Equinox, offers something for everyone - day and night - on the banks of the Arizona Canal at Scottsdale Waterfront. Participants can:
• Listen to a variety of local bands and musicians.
• Shop the special four-day fair of locally produced goods presented by Artisan Markets.
• Marvel at live performances by stilt acrobats.
• Learn and play in workshops with artists and SRP educators.
• Take a guided Saturday morning canal path bike ride.
• See one-of-a-kind art installations by local and international artists.

National Poison Prevention Week

The Poison Prevention Week Council provides information about the events associated with National Poison Prevention Week, the steps that you can take to help prevent accidental poisonings and tips for promoting community involvement in poison prevention.
National Poison Prevention Week, the third week in March each year, is a week nationally designated to highlight the dangers of poisonings and how to prevent them. However, every day people can and do prevent poisonings. Business Expo 2013

When:  2- 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 26.
Where: Tohono Ballroom at el Pedregal, 34505 N Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale.
Cost: Free to the Public.
What is it:  Kicking off the event at 2 p.m. Ron Cates will discuss Email Marketing and Social Media for your business. Doors to the Expo open at 3 p.m.  Over 50 local vendors and entertainment.  Shawn Pfunder of Go Daddy will give a presentation about website design and set up at 3:30 p.m.  Bob Boze Bell to visit and sign autographs at 4:30 p.m.

When:  7:30 – 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 3.
Where:  Foothills Community Foundation, 34250 N. 60th Street, Scottsdale.
Cost:  $15 for Members, $25 for Non-members.

Ribbon Cutting

What:  Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening for the new school Primrose School at Tatum.
