Harold’s Mardi Gras Party Set for Tues., Feb. 12
Fat Tuesday Party Features Authentic Mardi Gras Buffet, Costume and “Most Beads” Contest, a Crawfish Eating Contest, Swing Dance Lessons, and Live Music
CAVE CREEK – Harold’s Cave Creek Corral is inviting the public to its 4th Annual Mardi Gras Party from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 12. The festive party features an authentic Mardi Gras buffet, drink specials and live music by the 
52nd Street Jazz Band and EastonAshe. Admission is free, but reservations are requested for the $14.99 authentic New Orleans-style buffet, featuring Crawfish, Oysters, Jambalaya, Chicken Gumbo, Andouille Sausage, Dirty Rice, Shrimp Etouffee and more.
Guests can take Swing dance lessons at 6 p.m. and participate in a crawfish eating contest at 8 p.m. The popular costume contest takes place at 9 p.m. where prizes will be awarded for best costume, best mask and best painted face. A 
prize will also be awarded at that time for the patron with the “Most Beads.”
Danny Piacquadio, Harold’s co-owner, said the restaurant’s Mardi Gras party continues to grow in popularity. “We add our own Cave Creek twist to it, but this is as close to a true New Orleans Carnevale party as you’ll get here in Arizona. Dress in the traditional Mardi Gras colors of purple, green, and gold and bring your appetite,” he said.
