Help eliminate drugs in school

CAVE CREEK – It is common knowledge our schools are rife with drugs. Lately there is much talk of Heroin being the new drug of choice. That is hardly surprising considering that the drug of choice in Mexico is Heroin and schools all have their share of illegal aliens.

A mother told me one of her children wanted to leave Cactus Shadows and go to a Paradise Valley school to escape the prevalence of Heroin at CSHS. She promised to bring her child to our office to give testimony to the drug problem. Her child refused.

Students just won’t “narc” on others and neither will school employees. Administrators and teachers deny existence of a drug problem because they are afraid of losing students to their competition and the more students the more money they get.

Trained law enforcement people are anxious to bring this under control. All they need is names. They have the resources and skills to get the job done. Any information will be held in the strictest confidence including the identity of those who provide information. That promise has never been broken by this newspaper.

This charade has gone on for far too long and student’s lives are being threatened, not only by Heroin but other illegal substances as well as misuse of prescription medications.
