Super Bowl bet

LARY & DANNYCAVE CREEK – Larry Wendt, owner of The Buffalo Chip, is thrilled that the Packers won Super Bowl XLV but he is flying a Steelers flag in front of his Packers bar and restaurant for a week since he lost the fun rivalry "Fans Kick Their Cans" Food Challenge with rival bar Harold's Cave Creek Corral. Owning up to the second part of the bet, Harold's co-owner Danny Piacquadio is wearing a Packers Buffalo Chip T-shirt for a week since his beloved Steelers lost the Super Bowl. Cave Creek Town officials report some 5,800 Steelers and Packers fans watched the Big Game at both restaurants, which share a dirt parking lot. Fans donated a total of 2,635 pounds of food and toiletries to The Foothills Food Bank.
