The 22-year old Desert Hills, Arizona resident has been appointed by the DFCA Board to serve as the DFCA’s Queen during the 2011 rodeo season. Her schedule will include both Cave Creek Rodeos (April and October) as well many PRCA rodeos in the Turquoise Circuit.

Amanda is an energetic young lady who is quite accomplished in horsemanship. Her 2010 accolades include 1D trophy saddles from the IBRA and the BRN4D as well as several trophy buckles. In addition to barrel racing, Amanda rides and trains her stallions and is developing her own breeding program. One of her goals during her reign is to organize barrel racing competitions at the Cave Creek Memorial Arena with the assistance of the DFCA.

Miss Barlow is very excited for the opportunities and experiences that present themselves while she holds this distinguished title. She is also proud to be the face of the DFCA while traveling the circuit and promoting the DFCA and Cave Creek Rodeos.

Miss Barlow was the first runner up in the DFCA’s 2010 Queen Contest and the unanimous choice for the 2011 rodeo season. Amanda says she is thrilled to be representing the DFCA as the 2011 Cave Creek Rodeo Queen.
