jojoJo Jo takes top prize in annual pet costume contest

CAVE CREEK – Okay, seriously, only pet owners will appreciate this. And I am really not crazy, but maybe just a little bit. My pet is a long haired Chihuahua named Jo Jo. I made his costume – I am the flower, he is my honey bee. I made the harness so he can fly in the air, and he loved it. We went to the annual Cave Creek Wicked pet costume contest and can you believe it, he won first place again this year!!!! He is the defending champion.

jojo and momThis is the second year of the contest, and this time they gave away metals! Jo Jo won the "most unusual" certificate complete with an olympic metal. Then they picked the top three, and he won first place! A blue ribbon! There were over 50 entries.  One of the vet doctors was doubled over cracking up as she saw him fly. I had children shrieking with laughter, and even grown men were roaring and pointing as Jo Jo flew, or "buzzed" all around. It was an absolute blast. He is a super star!

The fate of wild horses and burros is tragic.  My attorneys and I recently reviewed several thousand documents provided by the Arizona Game and Fish Department under the Arizona Public Records Law. Keep Reading...
