Arizona’s Grandest Western Event Planned for November 4-7 in Cave Creek

CAVE CREEK – Wild West Days, an annual Wild West experience that is one of Cave Creek’s signature events, will be held from November 4-7, 2010. The three-day venue features a golf tournament at Rancho Manaña Golf Club followed by two days of family entertainment, dances, music, bathtub races, pig races, Southwest Legends Gunfighters, a wild west buffalo show, Miss Wild West Days and horse-related activities and festivities.

Ventana Academy hosts Luv Shack Trainers’ Challenge during Wild West Days

Rescue horses available for adoption

CAVE CREEK – Horses that are abused, neglected and sent for slaughter are rescued and rehabilitated by Luv Shack Ranch, a non-profit organization.

During Wild West Days in Cave Creek, November 5-7, Ventana Academy will host a trainer’s challenge during which eight Luv Shack horses rescued from slaughter will show what they have learned after working for 90 days with professional trainers. Keep Reading...

Cave Creek Wild West Days hosts The Walk for “100”

As part of the Cave Creek Wild West Days, The Walk For “100” will take place on Sunday, November 7, to benefit the 100 Club of Arizona. The 20-minute walk will begin at the corner of Cave Creek and School House Road in Cave Creek. Participants, on foot and horseback, will consist of members of public safety and fire services, along with members of the community. A $5 fee per walker will be collected and donated to the 100 Club of Arizona. The path will continue to the Buffalo Chip Saloon, where walkers can indulge in a complimentary Chuckwagon sponsored brunch. Keep Reading...
