They’re back – the ever popular Wild West Days Bath Tub Races!!
CAVE CREEK – The excitement begins early. The first important date is Friday, October 15, yep that’s right, weeks before Wild West Days, November 4-7.
The Miss Bath Tub Queen Pageant and Sponsor Auction will be held from 7 – 10 p.m. at Cody’s. The auction for prime visibility as sponsors of the bath tub racing teams will be heated, so come early and plan to bid seriously and generously. You’ll also be bidding to name the queen!! Winning sponsor bidders and bath tub teams will be partnered by the end of the night. DFCA will benefit from the sponsor auction.
And, Miss Wild West Days Bath Tub Queen will be crowned too! As Queen, you can be the one to start the WWD Bath Tub Races, preside over the Pre-Race Party, lead the parade and present Trophy Awards at the Ceremony and Party! Sign up to compete now. Think suds! By Friday, October 29 the racers will be built with only the finishing touches and trial runs remaining. The public is invited to meet all teams, sponsors and Miss WWD Bath Tub at the Pre-race Meet and Greet Party at Big Earl’s Greasy Eats from 7 – 10 p.m.
The big race is Saturday, Nov. 6 starting with qualifying tournament races at 1 p.m. with the trophy race to follow from Big Earl’s to Cody’s. Winner trophies will be awarded later in the evening – Wild West Days Bath Tub Race Award Ceremony and Party at Cody’s from 6 – 10 p.m.
