Bath Tub Races
Rules
Safety is the number one priority – Driver (in the tank or tub) must control both steering and brakes of vehicle (not pusher).
Racers
Race entry is one driver and one pusher, although you may have as many people on your team as you wish.
Race driver must be at least 18 years old.
Entrants required to register: application form, signed set of rules and $35 entry fee must be submitted no later than 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3.
Vehicles
Race vehicle: stock tank or bath tub; must have 4 wheels on the ground; must have steering wheel and brakes; not to exceed 8 feet in length, 5 feet in width and 5 feet in height
Wheels and tires not to exceed 18 inches (bicycle tires not allowed for safety reasons)
Race vehicle must display a race entry number no less than 10 inches in height on both sides of the vehicle. Your vehicle number: ________
Schedule
Race teams to be at Big Earl’s by 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 for orientation
Race begins at Big Earl’s at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6
Race is an elimination tournament approximately 100 yards in length.
Race ends at Cody’s
Awards Ceremony at Cody’s 6 p.m. Nov. 6 presented by Miss Bath Tub
