The very first e-mail was sent in 1971. The content of the message was “QWERTYUIOP”.

It has long been a prudent practice to be cautious whenever picking up things in California. You see, the world’s most poisonous species of newt is native to that state. The muscles, skin, and blood contain tetrodotoxin, which is a powerful nerve poison.

The Cook Islands in the South Pacific are some of the few remaining larger isles that are unexploited by humans. In the latest evaluation, the islands were still 95 percent covered by forests.

Until 1997, it was illegal for “feeble-minded” persons to be married in Connecticut. Good Gosh. I know of some regions in my state wherein a similar law might possibly wipe out an entire generation.

So far, every American space flight where food was involved has included chocolate.
