CAREFREE – According to Recall David Schwan Treasurer Ryan Ducharme, Superior Court Judge Mangum approved a temporary restraining order on Tuesday, allowing him to resume collecting petition signatures at the Carefree Town Hall/Post Office on Wednesday.

USFS rules 10 Camp Creek cabins can be rebuilt

Camp CreekCAMP CREEK – After four years of frustration and battling red tape, the owners of 10 cabins, which were burned in the 2005 Cave Creek Complex Fire, received permits to rebuild last week.

The U.S. Forest Service ruling, which was released on Friday, July 24, also renews the permits for 41 other cabins for the next 20 years.

PHOENIX – Danny Wise, the former Scottsdale CPA who is accused of operating a $70 million Ponzi scheme, is currently incarcerated at the Lower Buckeye Jail in lieu of $500,000 cash bond on numerous other pending theft charges in Maricopa County Superior Court.
