CAVE CREEK – Town Attorney Gary Birnbaum reported on U.S. District Judge Roslyn O. Silver’s ruling that granted a preliminary injunction against the town’s solicitation ordinance in a complaint brought by the ACLU and MALDEF, during Monday’s council meeting.

CAVE CREEK – Following Monday night’s council meeting, Mayor Vincent Francia met with Town Manager Usama Abujbarah and Town Attorney Cliff Mattice to insist they allow the referendum to proceed through the process and place it on the ballot for a citizen vote, providing at least 70 of the 209 signatures submitted are found to be valid. Woman hurt in riding accident
A woman thrown from the horse while riding near 52nd Street and Cloud Road on Tuesday morning was flown to an area hospital, according to Rural Metro Capt. Ryan Travis.
