Sonoran Waters, Rain focus on quality service

DESERT FOOTHILLS – The folks at Sonoran Waters Custom Pool & Spa have created a one-stop shop for anyone wanting to beautify their yard and maximize the pleasure of their home. The true beauty of Sonoran Waters, and its sister landscaping company, Sonoran Rain, is the job is not done once the pool, spa or landscaping is finished.

“Not many companies do both,” said Mike Johnson, who operates the businesses along with Cody Howard. Despite their “one-stop shop” philosophy clients do not have to use both companies – they can use one or the other.

Sonoran WatersJohnson and Howard have over 30 years of experience in the pool building and landscaping business. Their relationship with clients, whether for pool construction or yard landscaping, is just beginning once the construction starts.

“We are hands-on from day 1 until we are done,” Johnson said about the backyard renovations.

“We stay involved in the process the whole time,” Howard said, adding they not only design a beautiful pool – they also make sure they function properly.

Sonoran Waters and Sonoran Rain operate primarily in the Cave Creek, Carefree, north Scottsdale and Paradise Valley areas. In addition working with custom home builders they also do their fair share of remodeling work.

“The market in Cave Creek, Carefree and Paradise Valley hasn’t died down at all,” Johnson said. “People who have owned their homes for five, six or seven years still have legitimate equity in them.”

The two companies keep it simple, striving to offer clients what they are looking for.

“We seek to offer the absolute highest quality and value in the industry, bar none,” Howard said.

Howard points out how today’s multi-purpose backyards include enticing swimming pools and spas, waterfalls, planters, fireplaces and places to gather.

“Not only is experience imperative, but an eye for design can make the difference between having a cohesive creation that merges with the property or clashing elements that distract from a peaceful environment,” he said.

When working in the beauty of the upper Sonoran Desert Howard and Johnson keep in mind preserving the best views when they build a pool or re-do a yard. “We take the view into account plus the size of the yard,” Johnson said.
